I am a 2000 graduate of Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine. I have worked as a small animal
veterinarian in Delphi, Indiana since graduation. I became interested in becoming a veterinarian at a young age due
to my love of dogs. I watched my first cat being spayed at age 8. I passed out, but kept gong back to volunteer
because I knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. House call practice always interested me because I
enjoy people. Early on in my vet career I worked with a 90 year old woman who couldn't drive and was unable to medicate
her cat. I went to her house twice a day to help her. I enjoyed visiting with her and I know she appreciated the
company. She was a real character. Assisting her and clients with similar issues is what motivated me to start
the house call practice.
